Andy Mineo Never Land 2

Andy Mineo and his latest masterpiece Never Land 2 just dropped and we’ve been able to tell so many stories from this project.
First off, the delay in the record coming out was caused by the song “Been About it.” We reported that Lecrae originally opened his verse in a similar fashion to the 1986 Beastie Boys song “Paul Revere.” Mineo was unable to achieve the clearance of the line in question from the song’s producer Rick Rubin.
Lecrae had to rerecord his verse and they had to rerecord the song’s music video. We offer a much bigger breakdown in the article on Rapzilla.com.

Speaking of Lecrae and Andy, they have both wanted to do a collaboration project in different parts of their careers, but it just never worked out. Now, with Andy’s schedule clear, and Lecrae slowing down the music output, it could possibly happen. Hear more about that in our interview with Andy on Rapzilla’s YouTube.

Ruslan Love What You Do

Ruslan has been so consistent in his career with releasing music. However, he’s been blowing up doing his thing on YouTube, as he just surpassed 100K subscribers. If you’re a fan of his music, it feels like forever since Indie Jones III dropped, even though that was in 2019.

The thing is, Ruslan has a whole audience on YouTube that may not be too familiar with his music so now he’s solved that. Love What You Do was just released. The single “Plans Up” was just a preview of what was to come.

Steve Malcolm to Fight KB

Our latest interview with Steven Malcolm was a wild one. All I’m going to do is read an excerpt.

I don’t know if KB announced this yet, but he’s doing a fight night. I know people on Twitter have seen I’m getting into boxing. KB too, doing his thing. He hit me up and said, “Yo bro I’m hosting a fight night in Tampa you should come through.”

I’ve been excited about that because I’ve never fought before. I’ve been training for a year and I told myself that once I reach a year of training, I’mma fight. I cut all sugars, I don’t eat cereal anymore. Man, I haven’t had a bowl of cereal in I don’t know how long! I’m drinking mad water. The fight night is October 29th. We’re probably gonna announce it soon. I’ve been excited about that, getting in the ring is gonna be cool.
