“The Fight” is a Christian hip hop song by Chris Trent inspired by 2 Corinthians 10:5 which says:
“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
It reminds us that not every thought that comes into our heads is inspired by God, and therefore should be challenged and submitted to the truth of God’s Word. These thoughts include but are not limited to thoughts of worthlessness, fear, anxiety, lust, covetousness, etc. “The Fight” music video gives a visual on the effects of fear and portrays the extremes of what it could lead us to do, even though most of the time, it really is all in our head.
