Out of the Dark Man X and into the marvelous light, the Ruff Ryders front man DMX has never been shy about sharing his faith in Jesus Christ. From the heartfelt prayers at the end of every album to dropping one of the biggest Christian Hip Hop records in history (YES I SAID IT), X has always been a man who has never one to shy away from pointing people towards his Lord and Savior.
This past Friday, the Ruff Ryder Anthem rapper had his very first IG Live to do just that, as he stopped, dropped and opened up shop while reading from Ecclesiastes 3 encouraging viewers who’ve been slippin’ to tap into the power of prayer and surrender to Christ.
Later on in the video, DMX performed a virtual alter call as he had viewers follow him in a simplified version of Paul instructed in Romans 10:9, urging those who made the declaration of faith to pursue a relationship with God and to dive into the Bible for themselves if they’re ready to meet him.
