Reach Records

Alright, the hottest story of the day is ding ding, Hulvey! Hulvey is the newest member of the Reach Records squad! If you had been paying attention these last few months, you’d know the signing was inevitable. “Motions” was one of the best songs on the 116 Summer Playlist. You’ve also seen him pop up all over as a Reach “affiliate” and he’s on “Live Forever.”
I got to meet Hulvey in October at A3C and we’ve been holding this secret for quite a while. Glad we can talk about it now!

116

Speaking of that “Live Forever” track. It’s the newest releases under the 116 Clique. It features the aforementioned Hulvey along with labelmates Wande, Trip Lee, Tedashii, 1K Phew, and guests Aaron Cole and Tommy Royale.

Lecrae

Lecrae was recently on the “Winging it with Vince Carter Podcast” where he spoke about some details of his upcoming album Restoration. Crae told the NBA legend that the album is dropping in the spring and will feature Kirk Franklin, BJ the Chicago Kid, and John Legend. I can see the outrage in the comments already! I’m just reporting the news people!

Jered Sanders

Lastly, I want to give a shout out to Jered Sanders and Hope is Dope 2. This man consistently puts out proper CHH music for adults. It’s early, but, I think we can already consider this a contender for album of the year. Pus the features on this joint are ridiculous.
