Illijam Releases ‘The Mad Exchange’

Illijam just-released his sophomore studio album The Mad Exchange. On it, he contemplates how many people find Christians to be insane for the trade they’ve made. Everything for Jesus. And Christians think the world is mad for refusing to let go of the fading, empty, lethal pursuits of this life in exchange for God.

“Madness. A peculiar madness has infected all mankind. Warping the heart and setting it aflame with an insane addiction to worthless, lethal lovers and a disastrous disdain for precious, life-giving realities,” he writes. “But 2000 years ago, the ultimate mad exchange was made to afford us all the chance to make the only sane one.”
