Derek Minor Aims for People to Heal with ‘Nobody’s Perfect’ [Listen]

Derek Minor hasn’t released a true full album since 2018’s The Trap. This long process gave him time to heal and bring his mindset into a different place. He wasn’t ready to release a masterpiece into the world yet.

Now in 2023, he wants people to find the joy and healing he did. While The Trap talked about hardship, his new album Nobody’s Perfect reflects on our constant need to try and be something we’re not. For Christians, there’s only One who is perfect, and we fall short of that every time.

Most importantly, Nobody’s Perfect revolves around the healing and joy life can bring when we come to terms with what we’ve been given.

We recently spoke to Minor, more on coming to Rapzilla, where he broke down how important this project was to him and the impact he wants it to have on others.

For now, you’ll just have to listen for yourself.
