Rapper, Actor, & Believer YDG Joins Squid Game Season 2

I don’t think anyone could have predicted how big Squid Game (오징어게임) on Netflix would become but with its success, it was inevitable a second season would be announced. My wife and many co-workers were buzzing about how great it was and although I didn’t personally watch it, a recent announcement may push me to give it a chance.

Four days ago YouTube Netflix K-Content posted a cast announcement that includes Yang Dong-Geun (YDG). Since we know not everything on the Internet is true, I checked YDG’s Instagram and confirmed it and was ecstatic.

YDG is unashamed about his faith in Jesus and this is conveyed in his music, clothing line (Sitteth, the three t’s represent the crosses at Calvary), partnerships with 777 Made in Heaven (MIH for short), and his posts on social media.

K-pop has opened the door for Korean Entertainment, mainly women watching Korean Dramas but I encourage you all to check out YDG’s prior movies since he is a phenomenal actor. ‘Fighter in the Wind’ from 2004 is my favorite. It’s not only full of action but inspirational.

We profiled YDG here.

Will you be binging Season 2 of Squid Game and showing YDG some love?
