Guvna B Announces New Album ‘The Village is on Fire’

Guvna B has a new album dropping on May 26th. The Village Is On Fire is a stunning 12-track journey through the heart of London, showcasing both its difficulties and triumphs. Instead of merely lecturing his East London community about the struggles they face, Guvna B invites them to engage in a conversation through his music.

This is what sets Guvna B apart – his unwavering commitment to his hometown, even when it causes him pain. Unlike others who may run from their past traumas, Guvna B finds beauty in life’s darkest moments and channels it into his art. This album is a testament to his growth as a musician and a melting pot of the sounds that surrounded him during his upbringing.

Guvna B takes no prisoners with tracks like “U Get Me” featuring the Mercury Prize-nominated Ghetts, solidifying their status as leaders in the grime genre. “Amplify,” a soon-to-be summer anthem, showcases his cultural heritage with the help of Ghanaian rising star DarkoVibes. On “Everyone’s A Hypocrite,” Guvna B expresses his frustrations while paying homage to his roots in the church with “Alright,” featuring gospel Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Kierra Sheard.

In a rapidly changing world plagued by financial struggles, Guvna B’s music serves as a beacon of stability and resilience. This album, his most accomplished work to date, is a result of years of dedication and sacrifice and demonstrates his unwavering commitment to his craft. With this latest release, Guvna B has once again proven himself as a true force in the music industry.
