New content is released every week, and it’s sometimes easy for it to get lost in the shuffle. For that reason, we’d like to offer up this weekly rewind. These are some of our favorite releases to make their way to us for review — the Top Underrated Christian Rap songs of the week.

R-Swift – Open Season ft. Th3 Saga
From R-Swifts newest album, You’re Welcome 2, “Open Season” is a track for fans of heavy hitting punchlines, and flawless lyrical flows.

TK Lee – Ride
TK Lee speaks about the expectations that the world places on us to look a certain way and achieve a certain amount of “success.” Reassuring listeners that God has an entirely different desire of us.

Timothy Welbeck – Minivan Marauders ft. Stephen the Levite and Jered Sanders
“Minivan Marauders” is a song for family men who love lyrical hip hop with that classic vibe.

Joshua Kriese – Miscarriage
As one could imagine just by the title, this new single from Joshua Kriese is an emotional track about losing a child. It’s a testimony to him and his wife’s life and journey, this one is a tear jerker.

KoA Jerome – Russian Roulette
RMG Amplify’s KoA Jerome dropped the “Russian Roulette” single a few days ago, and it’s one that should be on your radar. The song asks the question, “Why would you play Russian roulette with your soul.”

Dee Black – Amen ft. Mouthpi3ce,  Jered Sanders
Boom Bap vet Mouthpi3ce makes his final appearance on the beat before retirement by alongside Jered Sanders on label mate Dee Black’s latest single “Amen.”

YP AKA Young Paul – Seasons Change
“Seasons Change” takes you back to the glory days of boom bap. Produced by Tae Lamar, anything that this guy touches is going to be instant boom bap gold, and YP AKA Young Paul does not disappoint.

Kevi Morse – Pray
Encouraging his listeners to replace weed and alcohol with prayer, Kevi sought out to release the most real song he’d ever written. “Pray,” tells the story of perseverance in Christ through sickness, addiction, and poverty.

Danielle Apicella – Wilderness ft. Torey D’Shaun, Byron Juan
The latest addition to RMG Music Group, Danielle Apicella teams up with Byron Juan and Torey D’Shaun to release her song “Wilderness,” which is a song that asks God if he can find us when it seems like we are stuck in the wilderness of life.

Sareem Poems – Kick’n It
Sareem is an absolute vet to Christian rap, and over his entire career, he has never missed a beat. “Kick’n It” is proof of that fact. From the way, he rides the beat despite its tempo changes, to the bars he effortlessly delivers. This track is another boom bap thumper that deserves a considerable amount of respect.
