Christian emcee D-Will spoke to Rapzilla at legacy to share his testimony about selling drugs, finding God, and making music.
The rapper found himself at a strong believer’s house where she spoke all about the rapture. D-Will and his friend were freaked out, and left. As they were discussing the stories from Revelation, he posed a challenge to God.
“‘God if you’re real, you gotta reveal yourself to me right now’. And boom, the whole sky lit up, but not like a flash, but like five whole seconds where you can see everything like it’s day time,” D-Will said.
He ran home and turned on CNN waiting for them to talk about the rapture. It never happened, but he got the hint and gave himself to the Lord that night.
From there, D-Will began to open up about more of his journey and struggle living as a Christian, including a several year backslide.
