Json Talks New Album ‘Foreign’ and Creating with a Collective

Json announced that his new album Foreign is about him being happy to be home and looking to create. There is no concept on the record, but the idea is that “we are all foreigners.”

“This record feels really current,” the emcee said and is different from his other records.

Some of his best memories in making the record came on the fun collaborative atmosphere Json along with his team created in the studio.

Json then spoke about the collective he created with people he “gels” with. The goal is to get everyone’s name heard, and “extending your platform…to see what the Lord does with it.”

Json is excited to be able to collaborate with people in his city, and create art and music that they may not have been able to come up with on their own.
