Students Raise Over $400k to Translate Bible for the Deaf at Passion 2019
I guess raising $8.3 million in past years to fight modern day slavery wasn’t enough for students. 40,000 college students and their leaders donated $448,370 at Passion 2019. The donations are for the Deaf Bible Society, a campaign aiming to translate the stories of Jesus into sign language and distribute them to unreached parts of the world.

According to DBS, 70 million people know sign language as their one and only language.
At #Passion2019, we were given the opportunity to help bring the story of Jesus to the 70 million deaf people around the globe. Many in this community cannot read and have no access to God’s Word. Together, we raised $448,370.41 to change this reality by funding the expansion and distribution of sign language Gospel stories!
