God in the City Youth Leaders Conference, 16 Bar Challenge, & Concert

The God in the City Youth Leaders Conference is a conference that seeks to inspire and equip the urban youth minister with the resources to effectively reach youth in their contexts.

It takes place on May 14th at Esperanza National Programs & EYLI, 4261 North 5th St. Philadelphia, PA 19140.

They are also bringing the message of appreciating the beauty of the city and how God is already at work there – viewing the city as a place filled with abundance and hope.

This conference will offer workshops such as: Youth Ministry 101, Digital & Technology, Youth Culture, and many more. In addition to workshops, there will be networking opportunities, group dialogues, hip-hop battles, and a closing youth concert.

The Youth Leaders Conference is from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm followed by the Youth Rally from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. The schedule consists of two plenary sessions, two workshop blocks with 8 tracks, and a rally in the evening including a Christian Hip Hop 16 Bar challenge with Rapzilla, worship, panel discussions, and performances by Loso and Angie Rose.
