Emmanuel LKD Receives Award from the Upper Midwest Emmy Foundation

Emmanuel LKD was recognized out of hundreds of students by the Upper Midwest Emmy Foundation for his music video “Legend” which he wrote and starred in. He won the award for Outstanding Achievement for a College Music Video. His video was part of his senior capstone project at Bethany Lutheran College, from where he graduated in December of 2021.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences – Upper Midwest Chapter is a membership organization dedicated to excellence in television for College and High School students.

“The presentation of these awards is intended to be an incentive for the continued pursuit of excellence by those studying media and journalism and to focus public attention on outstanding cultural, educational, technological, entertainment, news and informational achievements by undergraduate college and/or high school students,” reads the website.
