Sean C. Johnson

Sean C. Johnson has Short Film Accepted into Independent Award Festival

Sean C. Johnson is an NAACP Image and Stellar Award-winning singer and songwriter. After spending the last 17 years recording, touring, and performing, he has decided to add screenwriter and director to his list of growing credits.

“The pandemic put touring and performing on hold for me,” says Johnson. “This turned out to be a blessing in disguise because it allowed me to rediscover my passion for film. During the quarantine, I spent hours studying and having fun with the craft.”

This short film is the result of all those hours. He wore multiple hats for “LUCKY” serving as the project’s writer, director, and editor.

The plot: “In a struggling economy, two jaded creatives allow their working relationship to cross lines that prove to be costly.”
