Bumps INF Released Personal Lyrics Before the Emo Rap Trend

During his Pen Game 101 interview, Bumps INF talked about how consistent he has been for transparency in Christian Rap. Ever since his first project, Pain in Paragraphs, Bumps said he writes about what he is currently living through without a filter.

For instance, his first project contains lyrics about his life during a divorce. Unlike today, that transparency has not always been popular, especially when he dropped his first project, Bumps said.

“I do think that part of that transparency thing is a good thing really. From the get-go, there weren’t too many people doing that,” Bumps said.
