‘Track Star’ Singer Mooski Says Original Name was Trip Lee Jr. on ‘The Breakfast Club’

Quickly rising artist Mooski made an appearance on Power 105’s famed ‘The Breakfast Club’ morning show. His song “Track Star” is taking off and as part of the interview host, Charlamagne began to dive into his past.

“Do you remember your gospel rap name?” he asks to which Mooski responds, “I used to be a big fan of Trip Lee…Trip Lee Jr. or something like that.”

He’s then asked, “Who is Trip Lee?”

“Oh, he a Christian rapper,” replies Mooski.

Prior to this, Mooski spoke about his background of growing up in the church and being part of the choir. He said he used to do gospel rap first.

At the moment, he is no longer making Christian music, but it’s cool to see him plug Trip Lee on the national stage.
