Bri Smilez Calls Out Modern Idolatry of Sex with Culture
Last year, we had Bri Smilez on Community During Chaos. This talk happened around the time Cardi B. and Megan Thee Stallion dropped their song “WAP,” and Smilez had a few strong things to say in relation to that song.
Mainstream artists like Cardi, Meghan are modern-day sex idols to Smilez. They represent Satan’s work on how he uses media to corrupt people’s thoughts and beliefs.
“The culture that we are indoctrinated by has been strategically assigned and designed to change the biological DNA of our psyche and infiltrate our psyche with Luciferian doctrine.”
This is why some people, Smilez uses kids she teaches in her youth group as an example, cannot quote any scripture, but can recite lines and lines of Cardi B. songs.
“The reason why we must arm ourselves with the Word is because history dictates where we are going in our future. We have these demigods and these idols that we worship, and yes we worship them, they have been around for a long time. Back in the biblical days, they called them the Baals, they worshipped Molochs, and they worshiped Asherahs.”
Smilez explained this is why people need to be more cemented into the word and why more women should speak out against these artists and what culture is promoting.
“We have a lack of an example of women who are calling things out for what they are, saying, ‘that’s not right’, and speaking a word of hope, love, and encouragement. Especially to young girls.”
