Let’s start off the show with some Andy Mineo news. Not only did he release his single and music video for “Shibuya Roll Call,” but he also revealed that his upcoming 5-track EP was inspired by his trip to Japan with Wordsplayed. The name of the EP is Happy Thoughts and it’s coming soon.
Hulvey
Hulvey will be slowing unveiling his
Keep Breathing initiative that features multiple singles and even a Bible plan. His “OTHERSIDE” single and music video was just the start.
Sho Baraka
The Social Club Misfits revealed the Feared by God tracklist and features as well as the release date of October 2nd. So be on the lookout for that.
So some deleted Tweets of Kanye Wests’ appeared that sees him thanking Eminem for dropping a verse on his “Use This Gospel” remix, presumably on the remix version of Jesus is King produced by Dr. Dre. Part two has been rumored for a few months and those recently surfaced tweets seem to confirm this remix exists somewhere. Interesting to see Eminem on it.
Dee-1 x Murs
Dee-1 and Murs
dropped a historic project in the sense that it’s a joint album between a Christian artist and a secular artist. It’s called
He’s the Christian, and I’m the Rapper which is inspired by the Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff’s,
He’s the DJ, and I’m the Rapper. Check out the project and let us know what you think.
This week’s episode of Community During Chaos was a special film-themed episode. It featured director of “Mic-Drop” Darius West, CHH music video director Will Thomas, and director and rapper Rhyan LaMarr. Watch it on IG right now.
Sponsored Artist of the Week – DJ Lost’NFound
Our sponsored artist of the week is DJ Lost’NFound who dropped a very special project that as he told me, looked to unify CHH. And the heart behind it was amazing.
“His debut album Caesura (SAY-ZUR-UH) features over 25 artists. The project has guest artists like Swaizy, Th3 Saga, Kamban, Selah the Corner, Xay Hill & more and is out now. Go download & stream CAESURA on every major platform.”
