Welcome to our weekly episode of Rapzilla.com’s Top Christian Rap News Recap. We endeavor to grab the best stories from the previous week and give them to you every Monday.

Watch Our Christian Rap News Show Below:

Gospel Rap vs Christian Rap

Our writer Josh did a breakdown of the differences between Gospel Rap and Christian Rap. Many people think they are the same thing, but from an artist/ministry standpoint it’s not the same thing. It’s different than the same old worn-out argument of Christian rapper vs rapper who’s Christian because both Gospel & Christian rappers can operate in the same space while someone who “happens to rap” is trying to be out of it. I know, this sounds a bit confusing but I’d encourage you to check out the article on Rapzilla to see the full break down.

4 Artists You May Not Have heard

Luc DiMarzio did his monthly installment of 4 Christian Rappers You May Not Have Heard yet. Every month he drops a small list of people who caught his attention. This month it’s Relena-Rochelle, Jay Sanon, Namedtobias., and Lamar Riddick. Go check out the article to learn a little more about them and hear their music.

10 UK Christian Rap Songs of the Month

Similar to that list, our writer from across the pond, Ben, is compiling a monthly list of top Christian rap songs from out in the UK. A few of the names include Still Shadey, Presha J, and Triple O.

Music Videos

Last week was loaded with music video drops too. We had “Willy” by nobigdyl. and Andy Mineo. Hulvey and Torey D’Shaun’s video for “I’m Different” dropped. Wande’s video for “Come My Way” released. And finally, we saw 1K Phew release the video for “Rocket.”

CDC

Finally, on Community During Chaos, we continued the conversation with YP aka Young Paul, CJ King, and Emcee Nice and spoke about how we can do better in our communities.
