2016

Our newest writer Josh Stratford started a multiple part article series explaining why he feels 2016 is the best year of CHH. In part one he broke down Capitol Records snatching up NF and Social Club. He also dove into the projects being put out by Collision Records, last it was also the year RMG came into its own. Part two of the article will discuss GOM, Reach, and a lot more. Check it out, what do you think?

Logic

Another one of our newer writers Micah Marshall, broke down the track “Hit My Line” off Logic’s new album. Obviously, Logic is not a Christian rapper but he spends the song asking God tough questions that many Christians themselves deal with. It’s an interesting read and hopefully a soul searching moment for the recently retired rapper.

5 Artists

Luc DiMarzio gave us his monthly 5 Christian Artists you may not have heard. Per usual, the list is excellent. Go to that article linked below and let us know in the comments which emcee you haven’t heard of.

CDC 10

Community During Chaos episode 10 aired last night and that means I’ve had 30 discussions about how artists are stepping up to be leaders in their communities and with their platforms. This week we were blessed by Dee Swan, Bri Smilez, and Datin who all shared what was on their hearts.

Lecrae

Lastly, the “I Am Restored” book by Lecrae is available for preorder, and with it, you’ll get a new single and a link to the documentary as well. Get the info on Rapzilla.
