Untdld releases a new hard-hitting single titled “Land of the Slain” in the wake of the recent killings of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Elijah McClain.
“I needed to voice my frustrations and release this song on the day people are ‘Celebrating freedom’, but who’s really free’. I hope songs like this, and others spark a healthy conversation that leads to action for change. After these killings, I slipped into depression and anger as I played back an encounter with law enforcement that could’ve ended just like these innocent lives. After coming out of that slump and overcoming the anger I recorded Land of the Slain. This is why Kaepernick took a knee.”
