Last year, we had Datin on Community During Chaos. During the conversation, Datin reminded the audience to keep their eyes on the end goal as Christians amidst all the current adversity. Von Won dropped his new song “Yes Jehovah” off his 12th project Gospel Rapper. The track is a rework of LeVert’s 1987 black-pop hit “Casanova,” and serves as the lead single for the album and carries the same light and joyous feel of the original. “Everyone loves a well-written pop song and, given the collective stressors we’ve all endured over the last year and a half, it just seemed right to give people a feel-good jam that celebrates God’s blessings on our lives,” Von Won said.
