A few weeks ago, we collaborated with our Nigerian contributor Olusola Adenusi to kick off a ‘Christian Rap Africa’ playlist and it’s been going well as we are gradually introducing and exposing our readers to more African Christian hip hop.

S.O – Opa

UK based Nigerian artist S.O. released his fifth album in 2019 and “Opa” which is one of the tracks on the project is one important one that brings him to his African roots as he samples the Afrobeats sound.

Suffix – Yobwata ft. Faith Mussa

Malawian rapper Suffix teamed up with Faith Mussa to deliver this easy grind jam titled “Yobwata” as he preaches love between all tribes as no one is perfect.

Snatcha – Children of God ft. Angeloh

Snatcha, one of the pioneers of Christian rap in Nigeria and a member of the biggest rap groups in the country Rooftop Mcs linked up with artist Angeloh on the Cobhams produced track titled “Children of God.”

Winter Amadin – First Flight Gang

Winter Amadin’s latest single “First Flight Gang” (FFG) is hammering the message of the gospel which is to save souls and reign in eternity when judgment comes.
