GOM’s Datin dropped the historic CHH Ain’t Dead Vol. 1 and it had everybody on it! He grabbed producers and artists from nearly every label and collective in Christian rap. I’ll give you one tracklist spoiler – Michael Peace. If you don’t know who that is, he’s one of the first Christian rap artists going back to the 80s.
And if you didn’t see an artist or producer represented on part one, there’s a good chance you may find them on part 2! We’ll be going live with Datin to talk about it on IG tonight!
Lecrae
We dropped interview part 2 with Lecrae. On this one, he opened up about his relationship with Kanye West, what it was like to watch KB leave Reach Records, and what he’s looking for in terms of talent these days. He even provided some insight about the future of the Unashamed Tour.
Wande
We also have part 2 with Wande where we close up her EXIT narrative on her life. Part one showed the journey to getting signed, and part two talks about her life as an artist and creating this last album. Be sure to read it on Rapzilla.

A few months back Selah the Corner was a guest on Community During Chaos. During the time of his interview, he had just completed something he was calling “Verses 4 Nurses.” Essentially, Selah was dropping feature verses and giving the full proceeds to those on the frontlines of COVID-19 in Queens, NY. “When something crazy happens you either have a choice of yielding to the chaos or leaning on the God of order. And God will be glorified through the order that’s operating in your life despite the chaos. You grab on what you control and you move something,” he […]
A few months back WWE personality Josiah Williams was a guest on Community During Chaos. At that time he had just been furloughed from his dream job at the company (he’s back now). The rapper and host spoke about the racial injustice in the country and his experience with COVID-19. Toward the end of the interview, he was asked whether he’s ever “found it harder to gain opportunities” as an African American. He didn’t have one example of anyone outright denying him because of that reason, but it didn’t take too much imagination for him to figure out why. Many […]
In episode 21 of Community During Chaos we shifted the focus to the turmoil in Nigeria. The SARS unit has been left unchecked in the country and this branch of law enforcement has taken the law into their hands. Limoblaze and Olusola live in Nigeria now, and Shope was born there. Reach Records dropped a brand new track featuring the label’s newest members Hulvey and Wande titled “Still 40 Deep,” available January 16 (1/16). The song gives a modern spin on the original song “40 Deep,” recorded in 2010 by Lecrae, Trip Lee and Tedashii featured on Lecrae’s Grammy & Dove nominated album Rehab. “‘Still 40 Deep’ is dope because it embodies what it’s like to fellowship with other believers who are young, urban, and unashamed,” shares Wande. “As a new generation we bring new blood and energy to the scene but the heart behind why we do music still remains the same; […]

Break Bread Entertainment is a brotherhood, a coalition of disciples of Jesus Christ, which includes: Rickavessel, Cell Blok, and Lyriq Nawqiy. Recently the three came together to form this collective and join musical ventures. We live in a world of contempt and discord, where being in agreement appears to be a foreign concept and opposing beliefs are equated to a lack of love. In a climate where everyone is at odds with one another, Break Bread Entertainment’s second single declares they want, “No Beef.” In this anthemic driven record, the tandem of Cell Blok, Lyriq Nawqiy & Rickavessel share their […]
Afrobeat is the fastest growing sub-genre streaming right now. Its reggae and Afrocentric origin made it a perfect and seamless direction for Track Major to explore. After reaching out to Steven Malcolm, another Jamaican native, the marriage made perfect sense. The writing of Kayla Starks added a flavor that gives this record a universal feel that anyone can bop to. Listen to Track Major Below:
