Lecrae guest appeared on a recent episode of rapper T.I.P “T.I.” Harris’ raw and uncut podcast ExpedTIously. They discuss a broad number of topics from his upcoming album Restoration, his vantage points on faith, community involvement, the church, and hip hop.
“When I first came out I was too worldly for the church and too churchy for the world,” said Lecrae.
Lecrae was referring to his rise to stardom as an artist, in which he explains it as his “come up.” His favorable reception with fans was spread throughout the world, but the music industry had no idea where he would fit.
