This song describes where I see myself going. I want to be able to tell God that I gave it my all when it came to creating content influenced by him.
The scripture which influenced this song comes from 2 Kings 2:11 where it states that Elijah & Elisha were walking in the Jordan river as Elijah was preparing to meet God. In verse 11 it reads “As they were walking along and talking, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them, and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven”.
Elijah never saw death but was taken by God. The God that we serve is a God of wonders, and our plans that we have for ourselves are not even big enough in comparison to what he has in store for us.
