I got the chance to speak to Xay Hill earlier this year. It was an honor to encounter such a nice and talented person. He’s been working on his craft and shelling out music like none other, so I’d be surprised if you hadn’t heard a track with him on it yet. I’m stoked to review his new album Broken Nightmares today. My first look at this album art – it’s got an ominous tone to it. A pile of skulls and Xay inside of a picture frame with a stormy backdrop lean heavily towards this Halloween season. I wonder if this […]

In a time when a lot of Hip Hop sounds the same, these two eclectic artists aim to deliver something unique and refreshingly creative. Familiar, yet unique, especially in the Christian Hip Hop space. Thematically, the title UFO TOFU symbolizes that as Christians, we are called to be “in the world, not of it,” […]

A few days ago, John Givez made a long post (post below) about a “nameless” person who he alleged wronged him in business concerning contracts and his future signing with Interscope records. Putting two and two together, it was quite obvious he was talking about Ruslan and King’s Dream Entertainment. Ruslan responded with a video to the post showing all his notes and documents showing that Givez was getting the money he said he wasn’t and explained the business decisions behind what he did. Read some of the highlights of that video here. (Full video at bottom of post) John […]

By now, we hope you don’t think of Rhyan LaMarr as just a filmmaker, because this guy “rap raps” too! His latest single “Know Your Name” is out now and it features Bri Smilez, KC Wavey, & Jack Red. Also, of course, he had to drop a cinematic video too! Based on Matthew 7:21-23, “Know Your Name” addresses one of the most important things in life, which is to know who you are, and whose you are in your lifetime. Most people walk through life not knowing their purpose, nor their reason for existence. What’s worse are those who don’t know God […]

Today was definitely a day that Marty and Fern of the Social Club Misfits will never forget. They dropped their long-awaited project Feared by Hell, and also won a Dove Award for their last project. The nominees were: Aaron Cole’s Not by Chance, Andy Mineo’s Work in Progress, GAWVI’s Heathen, and Kanye West’s Jesus is King.
