DJ Standout – Be There ft. Evan Ford music video [PREMIERE]

DJ Standout drops a cinematic music video for “Be There” that captures his real struggles between the pursuit of career and tension at home. The message is more spot-on than ever as we all deal with the stress of being able to provide while also being there for our loved ones.

Sometimes it’s tough trying to evenly balance out time between family life and work life. And when work life starts to really get busy, the time with family and friends might start to dwindle down. But what people quickly begin to realize is that there is no success in your work life when your family isn’t involved.

DJ Standout’s newest single, “Be There” featuring Evan Ford, speaks to navigating the ins and outs of having a successful career and including your family throughout the whole journey. And also, being there for your family not only during their successes but when the going gets tough. After all, there is no “I” in “team.” Plus, who wants to actually go through life without their family by their side? Nobody.

“‘Be There’ was inspired by my real life struggles between going 100% after my goals with my career and being there for my family and friends. There was a period of 2 years where I was traveling to LA from Denver every week and from the outside in it looked amazing. I remember sitting at a place in sunny LA and thinking I need to let people know the whole story. I was meeting different artists, producers, DJs, actors, you name it but behind closed doors at home my family and I had more tension than ever. My kids were dealing with emotions at school because dad was in and out every week, my wife was doing her best to keep it together both at home and for the kids but in reality I just wasn’t prioritizing being there for my family where it needed to be. As more and more people were like man you killing it or I’m tryin to get like you, I knew I needed people to hear that chasing money, opportunities, or status was not going to be the win that they were really looking for. Now more than ever we have to really be there for the people that matter.” – DJ Standout
