You never know who is watching. Over the years there have been several mainstream celebrities who have confessed their love for the CHH genre and the art it produces, from AJ Styles and Steph Curry, to Mary J Blidge and Lupita Nyong’o. Yet as dope as those shout outs maybe, the love will always hit different when it comes from a living Hip Hop legend.
Earlier today producer OnBeatMusic woke up to find Brick City’s very own Redman proclaiming his praise for Dru Bex’s single “Crown,” which he produced. In the video, Reggie Noble tells viewers that he’s heard a few of Dru’s records but “Crown” was his favorite while proceeding to go crazy the moment the beat drops. ” FIRE! FIRE! FIIIIIRE!”, yells The Funk Doctor as the video cuts off, cosigning the record with his seal of approval.
@DadbyFaith So wifey knew I was a big fan from back in the day and she reached out to him for a birthday shout out. He ended up listening to my music and sending me his email to send some more stuff. #WifeOfTheYearAward
