Lecrae teamed up with Love Beyond Walls to provide the homeless with handwashing stations in Atlanta. During this whole spread of Coronavirus, it’s homeless who are among the most vulnerable.
“When the pandemic hit, I thought, ‘What is the homeless community doing about these warnings?’” Lecrae told Channel 2 Atlanta. “It’s a major city and in a major city, like this, it speaks very loud. The love is loud, appreciation is loud, but the problems are loud as well. The city has shown me so much love, so I wanted to be sure to show it back.”
Love Beyond Walls is a non-profit whose aim is to “restore dignity to the homeless and poor by providing a voice, visibility, shelter, community, and grooming and support services to achieve self-sufficiency.”

“Do not be dismayed at the brokenness of this world. All things break. And all things can be mended. Not with time, as they say, but with intention. So go. Love intentionally, extravagantly, unconditionally. The broken world waits in darkness for the light that is you.” – Knost_ When people living on the street don’t have the means…we should step in to wash their hands. #Setmefree #corona (my man did get a meal btw.)_ This is not the end. #Restoration is coming.
Dmitry, was the first person to use the station yesterday to wash his hands.
He told us he hadn’t been able to wash his hands because he hadn’t had any water. This was his first response!
