Aasha Marie – DAPPER

“DAPPER” by Aasha Marie is her musing over the parable of the wedding garment in Matthew 22:1-14. Jesus speaks to those who in their self-righteousness disregard Him, refusing to put on the garment that the King supplied the invited guests.

“Likewise, I spent most of my life wearing what I deemed acceptable in my own eyes, not putting on what the King (Christ) supplies. Jesus’ desire for me to put off my sin and put on His righteousness. The ‘dig it’ and ‘dapper’ are both vintage words to reflect the vibe of the song.”
