Mogli the Iceburg is gearing up to release Sad People Make Dope Music ii and a few days ago he dropped the track features and producers. Aside from notable names such as nobigdyl., WHATUPRG, and Parris Chariz, there was one feature that may have stood out more for some.

Scribbled between Parris and NOT KLYDE is the name, Aaron Gillespie. The name might not mean much for those strictly into hip-hop, but if you grew up on or ventured into Christian rock and hardcore that name is royalty. Gillespie is the co-founder, drummer, and vocalist for legendary metalcore band Underoath. He’s also the frontman and guitarist for the Almost.

Underoath were the darlings of the Christian rock scene before differing faith journeys led them to drop the “Christian” from their music and message. Regardless, Aaron is a beloved figure in the scene and a tremendous guest spot for Mogli.

The CHH every man is known for his out of the box music and it’s exciting to see what he came up with for the song with Gillespie.
