Rapzilla Freshmen All-Time List

So for the 10 year anniversary of our Rapzilla Freshmen lists, we asked you to vote for your all-time favorite Freshmen. The winning vote-getters would be named the all-time Freshmen List.
Here are the results: Andy Mineo, KB, Social Club Misfits, nobigdyl., WHATUPRG, Aha Gazelle, Ty Brasel, Aaron Cole, John Givez, Swoope, Canon, Christon Gray, Hulvey, Jon Keith, and Wande.

We have two articles about Lecrae. One talks about his evolution of his sound and style from Real Talk to Restoration. It’s a great read to see how he’s matured and kept strong with his mission. We also reported on some of the themes of Lecrae’s new book Restoration. One of his goals with the book is to help restore the black community. The article also points at a number of ventures he’s working on.

Hulvey made news last week when he already released another project. It’s called BRKNHRT and adds more layers to his artistry off of Prelude. Hulvey was kind enough to break the tracks down for us. You check that out on the site.

Justin Bieber

Our writer Micah did a breakdown of Justin Bieber’s newest album Changes. That talks about how Justin came back to find the unconditional love of God. For many years he struggled with drugs and stability but seems to be on the right track. Yesterday, he also appeared with Kanye West for Sunday service!

Phil the Voice

Sponsored Artist of the Week – Vine Style Records announces the new single by Phil The Voice (F.K.A. The Voice) entitled “It’s All God.” The new song was produced by the 2011 Rapzilla freshman himself.
The Song chronicles his family’s tough journey from poverty to prosperity while giving Jesus all the credit for his blessings. “I went from a hooptie to a hummer in a summer… no frontin’,” said Phil.
