MLB pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, Adam Wainwright, is not only a rock on the mound – he’s also a rock in his faith.
The 15-year baseball veteran and owner of one of the nastiest curveballs in recent memory, has faced many challenges on the field. His latest challenge, however, is reading through the Bible in one year, and he has urged all his followers to read along.
Wainwright created a study called Walking with Waino that began on January 12th. Every day at 3 a.m. in the morning, a scheduled Tweet lists out the scripture for the day.
“Adam Wainwright, Community Church family member and pitcher for the Saint Louis Cardinals, invites you to join him in a year-long reading plan that will take you through the Bible in chronological order with readings from the Old Testament, New Testament, and Psalms each day. This study comes with a *journal for the first 200 people. Note- Journals are not necessary to participate in this study.
As part of Adam’s email group, you will receive daily journal insights from his reflections on this journey.” JOIN THE EMAIL GROUP.

Hey guys, I am so glad y'all joined this group. This is a cool opportunity for me to walk through God's Word in community with you. It's my prayer that this would be a blessing and a daily encouragement to you all. I can't wait to start on January 12th! – https://t.co/4SnW3Z1YuY
