Psalm x Young Noah – Pig with a Pearl

Psalm has teamed up with rising CHH icon Young Noah to drop “Pig with a Pearl” – the second release from his LP, Hero’s Lament.

The song is a vulnerable and transparent look at the doubts and insecurities of a professing believer. Psalm’s verse is delivered in the form of a prayer, asking God for clarity and validation in his walk.

Young Noah comes in with what is arguably one of the best guest spots on Psalm’s entire project. His verse reflects on a dark and troubled past, and admits that from time to time he allows negative self-talk to resurface in his mind.

The chorus ultimately recognizes that God loves us, despite our flaws and shortcomings. Overall, the song serves as a wonderful illustration of how the Christian believer can be both so broken and yet so beautiful in the eyes of a loving God.
