As reported by Sneaker News, SocialWorks, a non-profit founded by Chance the Rapper, and Jordan Brand are collaborating on the Air Jordan AKJO. The shoe’s colorway incorporates complementary shades of UNC blue, white, orange laces, and a translucent outsole.
The sneaker also pays homage to Chicago, with a map of the city spread across the outsoles alongside the SocialWorks logo, and a rendering of the city’s skyline along the tongue.
As taken stated on the SocialWorks site: “SocialWorks, founded by Grammy-award-winning musician and humanitarian Chance the Rapper, aims to empower the youth through the arts, education, and civic engagement.”
