How would music lovers feel seeing Lecrae come to Nigeria and performing in one of the biggest stages in Lagos, the entertainment hub of the country, wearing our native attires, speaking any of our numerous languages and relating to our culture at large? These questions I asked myself multiple times as I scrolled through Lecrae’s tweets about him wanting to visit Ghana, Nigeria, and Brazil. The memory of his performance will be an unforgettable experience.
I really need to go to Ghana Nigeria and Brazil.

It’s been two years since the cancellation of the planned tour to Africa and since then, all fingers have been crossed as they await the announcement of a new date. The anticipation of Lecrae’s visit to Nigeria got more hype when he tweeted in December about visiting the country.
Well, arms are still folded, people are waiting to have the biggest Christian rap artist visit the country especially as many international superstars are beginning to pay more attention to the country and are holding shows there.
2020 will possibly be a good time to have a Lecrae concert/tour as he plans to hold a 2020 tour. We believe putting Nigeria in the lists of countries to visit will actually be a great one.

Reach Records first and only female rap artist Wande, is Nigerian. Also, on the other hand, has on many occasions shared on Twitter about wanting to visit the country even specifying that she’ll love to come through in 2020.
I need to go back to Nigeria next year.

So picture it, having Lecrae and Wande on stage in Nigeria, performing their songs to a large number of music lovers alongside Nigeria’s finest Christian hip hop artists. It’s unfathomable!
Till then, we await Lecrae’s visit.
