New content is released every week, and it’s sometimes easy for it to get lost in the shuffle. For that reason, we’d like to offer up this weekly rewind. These are some of our favorite releases to make their way to us for review — the Top Underrated Christian Rap Songs of the Week.

Kyle Ringer – Consistency

This song has a unique beat to accompany a very well written and delivered melody performed by Kyle Ringer. Consistency is a track that requires a certain amount of introspection from the listener to fully grasp the weight of lyrically.

Gavin the HotRod – BagOverMyHead! ft. Jon Kieth

This song is off of Gavin’s latest album titled: A Necessary Punch which released on Friday the 20th of Sept. “BagOverMyHead!” is a song about insecurities and the frustrations that come from them.

Gospel Lee – Green Light

Ready, Set, Go! Gospel Lee’s new track “Green Light” is an encouraging song that will get you feeling hype and ready to make moves in faith.

Roy Tosh – Ghost ft. Wes Writer & Beacon Light

Inspired by Colossians 2:13, “And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses.” Roy Tosh and friends deliver a well written and produced track with this new single.

Weez the Satellite Kid – Cxllphxnx

We live in a world full of distractions. Sometimes you’ve got to remove the extra noise from your life in order to stay focused.

Tay Collier – New Song

As new creations in Christ, we are provided for, but sometimes the hardest thing to do is to focus on our own personal growth. Tay Collier describes some of these struggles in his latest track titled: “New Song.”

Starringo – Diffrent Again ft. Aaron Cole, Parris Chariz

This new single from Starringo will give you neck pains. With features from Aaron Cole and Paris Chariz, “Diffrent Again” is a track for folks who like that down south inspired style of rap music.

Xay Hill – Runaway ft. JADA

“Runaway” is the final track off of Xay Hill’s new 6 song ep titled: Isaiah.  The song is moody and heavy feeling and would be enjoyed by fans of Juice WRLD and other similar-sounding artists.

Zabbai – Salty+Lit

“It’s not a religion its a lifestyle, drippin with the flavor we the sauce.” “Salty+Lit” is a fun song that encourages the believer to have fun and enjoy the freedom we are given in Christ.

Kevi Morse – Fingerprint

We’ll all leave a legacy of some sort whether positive or negative. “Fingerprint” is a song that speaks on the desire to make an impact and to become the greatest version of yourself possible.
