Top Underrated Christian Rap Songs of the Week – 7/26/19

New content is released every week, and it’s sometimes easy for it to get lost in the shuffle. For that reason, we’d like to offer up this weekly rewind. These are some of our favorite releases to make their way to us for review — the Top Underrated Christian Rap Songs of the Week.

Dee Black – Gold ft. Shiwan
HISstory Music Group general, Dee Black is back with an anthem for all who plan to run the race of faith to the very end. Shiwan joins Dee Black on the track and is a solid feature artist that compliments the style and sound that the two were aiming for with this song. “Gold” has Christ-focused content and top-notch quality and production.

Ace Clark – Trouble ft. Andy Mineo
This is a cool song that gives off a Black Eyed Peas sort of vibe. Dealing with life’s woes can sometimes be overwhelming but every day we are given a new opportunity to overcome the troubles we have.

StefanOtto – Body Bag ft. Datin & Selah The Corner
Menace Music group brings a fresh element of lyricism to Christian rap. StefanOtto alongside Datin and Selah the Corner are quite possibly the modern gold standard of Christian Hip Hop.

Miles Minnick – Glo!
Filled with the glow of the Holy Spirit, Mile Minnick boasts in the power of God in this latest single from the California based rapper.

Michael Farrar – Faith
His faith is not for show and it’s not for sale. Michael Farrar shows a good balance of content and style in his latest single.

NamedTobias. – Doubt and Questions
As long as you have your faith you can make it through anything. No doubts or questions will ever stumble you as long as you keep faith in God as your foundation. This is a great song.

Phil J. – Everyday
Unique, upbeat and uplifting. Phil J’s “Everyday” delivers them summertime vibes while conveying the hope that lays inside of living out your purpose in the faith.

Danielle Apicella – Rain Don’t Go Away
RMG recording artist Danielle Apicella is a vocal artist that draws you into every song she puts out with her mesmerizing talents. “Rain Don’t Go Away” is a great song that takes you through a rollercoaster of emotions that ends on a high and positive note.

King Allico – No Snoozin’
Formerly known as K. Allico but no matter the name, King Allico is one of the most unique artists in Christian Rap. Showing off vocal abilities as well as his writing skills, “No Snoozin’” is a song that’s properly titled. If you’re sleeping on King Allico, it’s time to wake up.

Legin – On

This track has a great message/story. Legin shows that it’s possible to have swag, lyricism, and content in one song.
