Excelsior, true believers! Comic book fans and gamers all around the world have transcended into Nerd-vana over the latest news coming from the E3 Conference. Last night gaming studio Square Enix, the creative minds behind Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy and the rebooted Tomb Raider series, dropped a gamma bomb sized reveal with the trailer for there collaboration with Crystal Dynamics: Marvel’s Avengers: A-Day.

Rumored to have been in the works from 2017, the trailer gives a brief glimpse of some of the action and story for the open world RPG, previewing its graphics and abilities of your favorite Avengers. It has also been revealed that Ant-Man will be the first of many additional characters that will be available for gameplay. Square Enix also revealed that all future DLCs after the game’s initial release will be FREE.99, which is amazing news to my pockets.

The game has a release date of May 15, 2020, but PS4 owners can assemble to test the early beta version by pre-ordering the game. No word has been released on when the beta will be open to the public. There’s only question on everyone’s mind though. Where’s Hawkeye?
