Xbox dropped a bombshell this week. The Microsoft console unveiled that 2020 will be the year the gaming giant releases its new console. Their previous game system, the Xbox One, dropped back in 2013 and has seen several updates over the years to include new hardware and 4k compatibility. Enter the Xbox Scarlett.

Still, the Bill Gates owned brand is looking to change the game once again, giving the world the first taste of its new system, the Xbox Scarlett, at this years E3 summit in June. With a release date around late 2020 on the horizon, it will be dropping just in time for the Christmas season. There will reportedly be two versions of the console for consumers, one without a disc tray that will have 12GB of GDDR6 Ram at 1080p, another one with the tray that will actually be 4K with 16GB of GDDR6 ram.

“Halo Infinite” will be the systems first title dropping with the new launch.
