Stephen Curry Responds to 9-Year-Old’s Question About Not Having Shoes for Young Girls
Stephen Curry is at it again off the court as he continues to be sidelined on it. In your feel-good story of the day, a young girl named Riley penned a handwritten note to the two-time-MVP asking why his Curry 5’s weren’t available in girl sizes. Her father spread the news via Twitter in the hopes it would reach Curry. It did.
Read the first Tweet and the initial letter below:
@EmmaWatson Hi Emma, I know you are a big advocate for women. I was hoping you could retweet my daughter’s letter to @StephenCurry30 . This is her small way of making a difference and speaking up for women. You are a role model for her. We both would be very thankful. pic.twitter.com/mYNRtPMXP0

Curry says the reason shoes weren’t available for girls is that the small sizes were automatically listed for boys. He’s working on fixing it and giving Riley the full hook up.
Also, a few days ago, we posted about Curry and Trip Lee. Trip got some recognition on social media, and that was cool to see.
