Last year KB released what many considered a masterpiece of worship and rap with His Glory Alone. The rapper himself coined it Trapship. Well, the voters at the Dove Awards agreed with many in Christian Hip-hop sent KB home with a win. The album was up against Zauntee 3:34, Social Club Misfits Feared by Hell, Lecrae Restoration, and Ty Brasel The Divine Storm. Lecrae and the Dove Awards are no strangers to each other. This year on what could be his “last album” he won Rap/Hip-Hop Recorded Song of the Year for “Deep End” off his Restoration album.
