Since the summer of 2017 WHATUPRG has been en fuego despite not having much music to show for it. After joining indie tribe., striking a deal with Reach Records, and finally releasing an EP – it seems RG is here to stay.
Pleasant Hill dropped on May 25th. The Rapzilla Freshman saw his project debut at No. 7 on the iTunes Hip-Hop Albums Chart.
Since then, he’s showed no signs of slowing up. RG took to his Instagram Stories to showcase just some of the charts he’s still frequenting a week later. *Shout out to RG for providing the screenshots*
As the charts will show you, WHATUPRG is No. 24 on the Current Rap Albums chart, just one after NF. On the Billboard Top Christian Gospel Albums, he was No. 11. On the Record Label Independent Current Albums chart he was No. 48, again after NF. Lastly, on Current Digital Albums, he was No. 70.
Let’s see where this momentum continues to take him.

“I live off Pleasant Hill. It’s where I’m at right now,” said RG. “I think that’s what this whole project means to me. It’s not perfect or where I want to be, but it’s me right now.”
