Cruvention 97 – Performances (Throwback Thursday)

Way back in the yesteryear of 1997 Christian hip-hop got together to throw their first music convention. This was before Flavor Fest, Rap Fest, Legacy, etc. Cruvention was the spot, and everybody came to rap.

We received an email from Nathan Smart, who found 4 hours of footage on VHS tapes. He compiled them all together, uploaded them on YouTube, and even created a website to house all the videos.

We grabbed one of his playlist’s that showcases some of the performances at the event. You will see performances by Soup the Chemist, Cross Movement, Tunnel Rats, Knowdaverbs, Sons of Intellect, and more.

The playlist share option has been disabled, for the whole thing here.
