Aaron Cole spoke to Rapzilla at Flavor Fest where he revealed an event that gave him the miracle of life.
His EP, If I Can be Honest, also features a title track that opens up about Cole almost not being born. When he was born, his mom and dad were 17 and 19 years old. Prior, they went to the abortion clinic to terminate his life but the doctor told them she was too far along.
“If it wasn’t for God I would not be where I’m at today,” said Cole. “It put a perspective on me that I’m just grateful for everything I’ve been able to do.”
He said he cried while writing the song and has gotten emotional while performing it. It has led to a connection with fans and people who have shared similar experiences.
