T.S.O. Talks Label Split and ‘My Brother’s Keeper’ EP & Album

Emcee T.S.O. spoke to Rapzilla at SXSW and explained that the new EP Brother’s Keeper was actually recorded after the album.

The album is coming out in May and the EP was released to get people ready.

“The music is just me rapping and telling my story…just hip-hop,” he said.

T.S.O. then spoke about the new album M.B.K. (My Brother’s Keeper). He said it will feature JGivens, Canon, Gemstones, and a few others.

“This is probably my best experience in making music, making this album,” he revealed.

He said the record differs from the EP as far as the structure. The EP was more loose, while this album takes on a more fuller role.

T.S.O. then explained why he left his record label. He said he just wanted to “get back to the indie grind.”

“I learned a lot in the 18 months I was with them,” he said.
