Cheno Lyfe to plant church in Atlanta after serving under Rich Wilkerson

Cheno Lyfe — who released his latest album, Lunar, in July 2013 — has announced that he will move from Miami to Atlanta to plant a church.

“Over the last six years, we’ve had the awesome privilege of serving under the dynamic leadership of Pastors Rich and Robyn Wilkerson, as well as Pastors Rich Jr. and DawnCheré,” Cheno and his wife Lyd said. “On this journey we have worn many different hats and, in the process, have committed our lives to helping build the local church. As of recent, my wife Lydia and I have had a series of conversations with Pastor Rich Sr. as to what our next season in ministry might look like.

“We are sad but extremely excited to announce that we will be stepping away from our pastoral roles at Trinity Church and relocating to Atlanta, Georgia to plant a brand new life-giving church. Under the name Greater Church, we will be planting out of Trinity Church in partnership with the ARC Network. Our projected launch date is Sept. 17, 2017. We covet your prayers and support on this new journey and would love for you to hear our full story on our website, Greater.Church.”

Cheno also said he will continue to make music.
