FLAME on the State of Christian Hip-Hop

FLAME recently spoke to Rapzilla about his thoughts concerning the state of Christian hip-hop.

“We use the term Christian rap or Christian hip-hop when it may not be fair to a contingent of people who prefer not to be called that,” said FLAME.

FLAME believes another lane has emerged out of Christian rap that allows those not wanting the label to still create an impact.

“I think it’s only fair that we give them that…when they say, ‘Stop calling me that’,” he admitted.

The emcee thinks that Christian rap is great how it is and will keep being relevant just like those outside of the title will continue on.

“It’s alive, fine and well,” said FLAME.
